RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
The Migrant Maternal Infant Morbidity & Mortality study seeks a Research Assistant to work with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers. The study uses linked administrative datasets to compare health outcomes for immigrant and native-born Canadian women.

General Duties
The research assistant will work with the principal investigator, co-investigators and other team members to produce manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Education: Doctorate Degree
Field of Study: Epidemiology, Biostatistics

Other education considered an asset for this position: advanced training in maternal and child health

Work Experience: 3+ years in postdoctoral training

Other Requirements:
• Excellent English, spoken and written,
• Five or more years of experience with administrative datasets,
• Proficient in Stata or SAS,
• Experience with advanced statistical modeling.

Status: Temporary Occasional, between 10 to 12 hours per week
Pay Scale: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour, commensurate with education & work experience
Work Shift: Monday to Friday as needed
Work Site: Research Data Centre/QICCS
