Job Description

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
Under the direction of Dr Momar Ndao, the incumbent will perform required molecular biology diagnostic testing and develop new one within the NRCP team.

General Duties
Complete the molecular biology tests according the established protocols.


Education / Experience

Education: Master's Degree
Field of Study: Molecular biology

Work Experience:
6 month to 1 year
Professional Membership: ☐ Yes ☒ No

Other Requirements:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
• Problem-solving skills,
• Attention to detail.


Additional information

Status: Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: $47,320 to $87,887.80, commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: Monday to Friday
Work Site: Glen
