Position Summary:

The student will be responsible for working on quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods studies as a Research Assistant. They will be responsible of a literature review on health literate organizations. Data collection and synthesis will be among their essential tasks. They will also be responsible for creating reports while ensuring that deadlines are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate all required activities.

  • Ensure the execution of activities and achievement of objectives, making adjustments as needed.

  • Develop, validate, and finalize necessary documents in collaboration with end-users.

  • Regularly update Dr. Pluye on activities and progress.

  • Complete any other research assistant tasks assigned by Dr. Pluye.

Qualifications:

  • Summer student with some training and experience in research

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, including report writing and oral presentation preparation.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, problem solving and information management.

  • Excellent organizational skills in a very dynamic context (agile management).

  • Mastery of the Office Suite software.
