Summary:

As a Research Assistant in Dr. Pluye’s Lab, the graduate student will use quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research. Specifically, they will also work on knowledge translation of research results (diffusion, dissemination and application). They will be tasked with conducting work related to the output of a portfolio of methods and tools, especially eSRAP (an innovative platform designed for collaborative monitoring of research trends in the literature, social media, etc.). Key responsibilities encompass data collection, organization, analysis, and knowledge translation, along with generating precise reports in adherence to specified deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate all required activities.

  • Ensure the execution of activities and achievement of objectives, making adjustments as needed.

  • Develop, validate, and finalize necessary documents in collaboration with end-users.

  • Regularly update Dr. Pluye on activities and progress.

  • Complete any other research assistant tasks assigned by Dr. Pluye.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate student with training and experience in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods studies.

  • Training with experience in research knowledge translation.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, including report writing and oral presentation preparation.

  • Strong interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and information management abilities.

  • Excellent organizational skills, adaptable to a dynamic context (agile management).

  • Highly proactive with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with webinar platforms and innovative knowledge translation activities.

*The salary is between $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and graduate degree level.
