Position Summary:

The graduate student in this RA position will be part of a research project that focuses on discourse analysis of some conceptual frameworks of language and literacies research. The RA will engage with mapping out the discursive genealogy of some of the popular concepts in language and literacy research such as “translanguaging” and “raciolinguistics”. 

Qualifications:

• Background in qualitative research

• Familiarity with literacy research 

• Experience with language education 

• Experience with discourse analysis  

• Familiarity with histories of literacy education

• Must be a student at McGill (Master or doctoral student)
