Research Assistant 2

Position Summary:

Research the relationship between soil NO2- concentration and soil N2O flux, based on NO2- analysis with ion selective electrodes or ion selective field effect transistors.

Literature review, experimental design, develop test method, determine limits of detection, verification under variable soil conditions, validation, data analysis, report preparation.

Qualifications:

B.Sc. in Chemistry. M.Sc. in Renewable Resources. Prior work experience in a chemistry laboratory. Research experience in agriculture and soil science.
