The candidate will develop a deep learning model to simulate light propagation and absorption in spherical materials used in solar cells based on accurate simulation program of light scattering with Monte Carlo method. The Research Assistant will assist the research team in conducting research projects and, as required, may be responsible for some supervision of the undergraduate and graduate students by providing guidance and training.

Other responsibilities may include conducting research projects using processes and procedures related to light scattering. The candidate will write research reports. The candidate will also analysis and interpret research data and disseminate the results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Two years or more of relevant expertise to develop Monte Carlo simulation programs of light scattering in condensed spherical particles.
