Position Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisors, participates in the execution of laboratory projects and experiments. Performs assessment of mouse nocifensive behavior using different approaches (von Frey, Hargreaves, MGS, hot and cold plate), instraspinal and ICV injection of viral AAV vectors, WB analyses and immunohistochemistry.

-Uses a variety of equipment such as anesthesia equipment, centrifuges, veterinary instruments and computers.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of mouse nocifensive behavior using different approaches (von Frey, Hargreaves, MGS, hot and cold plate), instraspinal and ICV injection of viral AAV vectors, WB analyses and immunohistochemistry. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and to meet weekly and monthly deadlines. Demonstrated experience working in research laboratory. English spoken and written.
