The Corporate Training Delivery team in the Corporate and Continuing Education department is seeking a full-time Project Delivery Assistant to provide support ensuring the successful delivery of courses and programs offered throughout the department. The main functions will relate to supporting operations processes within a team using cross-functional and centralized approaches. As a successful candidate, you will be confident in working independently and interacting with a variety of clients, staff, and other stakeholders. You will exercise good judgment, provide flexibility, and be skilled in multi-tasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct project support to Project Coordinators to ensure customized training projects are successfully delivered
- Process course registrations and request course/program completion certificates
- Arrange travel as required - book flights, vehicle rental and/or accommodations
- Organize course delivery, including ordering course materials, textbooks & supplies and ensuring delivery of physical materials to, on or off training sites
- Communicate with various service units within NAIT such as Shop at NAIT, Print Solutions, the Library, Registrar’s Office, Parking Office, Distribution, Finance etc.
- Provide ongoing feedback for continuous process improvement
- Maintain outstanding customer service in a team environment
- Utilize and understand software tools and learning platforms: Campus Solutions, QuickBase, MS Teams, Moodle, Academic Tools, Salesforce
- Manage time effectively as the result of working on multiple projects at one time
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity in solving problems, organizing tasks, managing priorities, and maximizing operational efficiencies
Skills & Abilities:
- High computer literacy, including in MS Teams, MS Word, and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Accurately complete tasks requiring a high level of detail
- Ability to work in a high volume and high-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Diploma in a related discipline and 3 -5 years of experience in a related field.
- Working knowledge of Campus Solutions and project management principles would be an asset
- Prior experience in a post-secondary environment would be an asset.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Remuneration: $48,257.04 – $62,451.48 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification – Administrative Support V).
This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement
