Position Summary:
The candidate is to assist in the development, optimization and harmonization of synthesis and characterization techniques within the McGill Graphite group for the physical and electrochemical characterization of lithium-ion battery grade graphite powders in collaboration with the academic and industrial collaborators of the McGill Graphite Group. The postdoctoral researcher will also provide technical support for the development of novel graphite-based materials engineering solutions for lithium-ion battery energy storage systems in collaboration with the research team of the McGill Graphite Group.
Qualifications:

A PhD in materials engineering with a focus on electrochemical materials is required. Candidates should also have a strong knowledge background on carbon-based energy storage technologies.
