Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunity on Clouds and Precipitation using EarthCARE First-Light Observations at McGill University.

Expected to be launched in May 2024, the joint ESA/JAXA Earth Cloud, Aerosol and Radiation Explorer (EarthCARE) mission is the largest and most complex Earth Explorer to date. We seek a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to analyze the EarthCARE first-light observations of clouds and precipitation to evaluate large-scale models using a suite of forward and inverse modeling methods. The position is expected to begin as soon as June 1, 2024. Applications will continue to be considered until the position is filled.
