Postdoctoral Position in Malaria Vaccine Research

A postdoc position is available to join a project to develop a vaccine against malaria in pregnancy. The project is to conduct pre-clinical vaccine studies to optimize vaccine design and delivery, and in-depth immunological studies to characterize immune responses in mice. Applicants must have experience in immunology and bring skills in immunophenotyping, B cell sequencing, and other advanced immunological assays. Experience with small animals is essential. Candidates are sought that are highly motivated to advance their academic career and excited about research. The candidate must work well in a team and enjoy mentoring undergraduate and junior graduate students.

Qualifications

  • PhD in immunology
  • Strong track record of publications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
