This project will facilitate the process of acquiring sustainable products and services for consumers. The research will maximize the efficacy of buying sustainably via the Stocate platform. This project will provide the Postdoc with hands-on experience to launch a highly adaptable career which integrates sustainability, engineering, and business between both academia and industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders - Mitacs, McGill Engine, Stocate, and McGill University
  • Communicate with partners who can assist in the generation or provision of research data e.g., McGill Office of Sustainability, Mira
  • Map out a sustainable supply chain in Montreal based on the existing supply chain
  • Evaluate the sustainability of products and services that are sold to consumers in and around McGill campuses
  • Amplify the reach and impact of the research activity by forming collaborations in Montreal
