RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
A post-doctoral fellowship is available within the research group led by Dr. Nadine Kronfli, MD MPH, in infectious Diseases and Chronic Viral Illnesses at the Research Institute of McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC).

The candidate will work on overseeing two large correctional studies (one at the provincial level and one at the federal level), focused on sexually transmitted and bloodborne infections (STBBI) surveillance. If successful, the candidate will act as a study co-investigator and oversee study initiation across numerous sites across Canada. Travel may be required.

• Oversee study initiation and conduct at the federal and provincial correctional levels focused on STBBIs,
• Uphold scientific integrity,


Education / Experience

Education: Doctorate Degree

Field of Study: Epidemiology or Statistics

Other requirements:
• Strong interest in working with vulnerable populations and infectious diseases,
• Significant scientific contributions and publications,
• Experience with statistical modeling and data analysis in a clinical research setting,
• Strong programming skills: advanced R or a similar program,
• Strong organizational and communication skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
• Language requirements: English and French (spoken and written),


Additional information

Status: Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: Monday to Friday
Work Site: RI-MUHC (5252 blvd de Maisonneuve O., Montréal) and remote working as needed
