Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
The Part-time Academic’s duties are as follows: preparation for online/asynchronous education teaching and office hours, develop course outline, prepare and grade assignments, mid-term tests and final exams, over the Summer Term 2023. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Economics and recent teaching experience in a Principles of Microeconomics – on-line/asynchronous course. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and submission of relevant teaching dossier is required. Applicants applying to the Department of Economics for the first time should provide the names of 3 references.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
