Office Assistant A (Gatekeeper)

Position Summary: Main responsibilities include greeting customers, answering and redirecting telephone calls and inquiries, collecting payment for daily entrance fees, directing customers. Provide information regarding trails and current conditions to clients and members. Assist with membership processing and general office duties.

Performs basic word processing functions such as, document formatting, labelling, spellcheck, mail merge, drafting letters from template. Receives, sends and sorts mail, parcels and various forms. Verifies student ID, status and forms that may be submitted.

Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Must be willing to work weekends and some holidays.

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School diploma with minimal experience.
