Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Job Description

  • Assists in developing and training machine learning lab models for correcting nanofabrication errors in photonic integrated circuits. These tasks involve preprocessing and analyzing data, selecting appropriate models, and tuning hyperparameters.

  • Assists in developing software tools for data visualization, analysis, and documentation using Python, TensorFlow, and Git.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with one year of relevant experience in the field of work

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field (Preferred)

  • Proficiency in Python programming language

  • At least one year of experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

  • At least one year experience with software development tools such as Git

  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas and Matplotlib

  • Familiarity with machine learning methods and techniques for data analysis

  • Knowledge of image processing techniques

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
