Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology
Position Summary:

• Assists with sample collection during fieldwork in Station de biologie des Laurentides, QC;

• Assists with curating and cataloguing insect samples collected at SBL;

• Assists with collecting plant samples at Gault and Penfield nature reserve;

• Assists with drying and curating plant samples collected.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

• Appreciates fieldwork/outdoor life in Canada;

• Must have taken some courses in functional biology/ecology;

• Must be able to work independently on repetitive tasks;

• Must be able to swim/feel comfortable in water.

Experience and education:

• Undergraduate student majoring in Biology

• Experience with aquatic fieldwork (e.g. through previous internships).
