The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The junior research assistant must ensure the smooth running of the clinical studies. He or she must work in collaboration with the members of the team, investigators and health care group to coordinate the different clinical studies.

General Duties
Working under the supervision of the clinic director, the incumbent will:
• Participate in all aspects of the visits as part of the study and collaborate with the members of the medical team,
• Carry out assessment of study participants, in accordance with the requirements of the protocol,
• Screening, consenting, and enrolling of patients into clinical studies,
• Maintain and update the concomitant medication patient register, list of undesirable events, questionnaires and source documents, according to the protocol,
• Coordinate the tests required under the protocol,
• Participate in data collection and source documentation,

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Science
Other education considered an asset for this position:
Work Experience:
Knowledge of and experience working within a clinical trial setting would be an asset

Other requirements:

• Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,

Status: Temporary Part-Time (20-25 hours/ week)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM
