The Sprott School of Business invites applications for a full-time instructor position in Accounting effective July 1, 2023.

About the Academic Unit

The Sprott School of Business is committed to excellence in teaching and research and is accredited by AACSB. The School offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Commerce with Honours including a concentration in Accounting, a Bachelor of International Business with Honours, a Master of Business Administration including an off-campus program in China, a Master of Accounting, a Master of Entrepreneurship, a Master of Science in Management, and a Ph.D. in Management. The School also offers a Post-Baccalaureate diploma in Accounting. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, or higher, and hold a professional accounting designation with education in or experience with the Canadian accounting landscape. Candidates must possess at least five (5) years of professional experience in the Accounting field, consistent with AACSB guidelines for a doctoral-granting business school. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for teaching excellence. The following items will be considered assets: experience in management accounting, Canadian taxation or data analytics.
