The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice invites applications from qualified candidates for a one- year term appointment in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the rank of Instructor beginning August 1, 2022.

The successful candidate will teach in the undergraduate program of Criminology and Criminal Justice, including courses in Quantitative Research Methods and special topics at the third-year level. There are no research expectations associated with this position.

The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice has a unique structure and its undergraduate program is delivered with the collaboration of the Department of Psychology, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, and the Department of Law and Legal Studies. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or program with a strong background in quantitative research methods, and they must demonstrate excellence in teaching. Teaching expertise in quantitative methods and interdisciplinary approaches to criminology and criminal justice will be strongly favoured.
