Professor Mary Ellen Macdonald’s Lab, in the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, is currently seeking a Research Assistant (RA) for a project on the oral health of refugeed children in Montreal. .
The Research Assistant's Primary Duties:
The candidate will be required to perform a variety of project-related duties in the principal investigator's research laboratory. The primary duties include:
- Design and complete a narrative literature review.
- Assist in other components of the project (e.g., editing texts).
Qualifications:
- Graduate-level education in a health-related discipline.
- Experience with migrant populations is required.
- Experience with knowledge synthesis (i.e., literature reviews) is required
- Experience with qualitative methods (e.g., conducting interviews) is required
- Experience with qualitative analysisAccuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
- Bilingual (English; French) is an asset
