Professor Mary Ellen Macdonald’s Lab, in the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, is currently seeking a Research Assistant (RA) for a project on the oral health of refugeed children in Montreal. .

The Research Assistant's Primary Duties:

The candidate will be required to perform a variety of project-related duties in the principal investigator's research laboratory. The primary duties include:

  • Design and complete a narrative literature review.
  • Assist in other components of the project (e.g., editing texts).


Qualifications:

  • Graduate-level education in a health-related discipline.
  • Experience with migrant populations is required.
  • Experience with knowledge synthesis (i.e., literature reviews) is required
  • Experience with qualitative methods (e.g., conducting interviews) is required
  • Experience with qualitative analysisAccuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
  • Bilingual (English; French) is an asset
