Department of Integrated Studies in Education

EDEE 353-001/002/003/004 Third Year Professional Seminar (Kindergarten/Elementary) Theory-based strategies for setting up, managing and teaching in the elementary school classroom. Methods for integrating the individual subject areas in the elementary school curriculum, using the Quebec curriculum as the primary example. Professional portfolios and professional competencies will be addressed.

Salary: $17.75 per hour for a total of 60 hours (estimated)

Qualifications: Grader should have experience in the elementary classroom. They should have strong reading and writing skills and have knowledge of assessment and feedback to support learning.

  • Master's student, preferably with understanding and background in education specifically elementary.

  • Contribute to grading assignments in the course.

  • DISE graduate students will be given priority.

  • Bilingual is an asset.
