Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of moderate complexity and the incumbent performs them using established instructions.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
(i) Greets clients and answers specific inquiries with a positive attitude. This includes detailed information regarding programs and services offered. Some inquires may require further research into the topic.
(ii) Conducts research into Alumni lists and other data repositories for donations as well as into documented material for various projects.
(iii) Assists with events such as meetings, interviews, training sessions, exams and event setup.
(iv) Assists with planning of events, such as travel arrangements, recruitment, classroom setup and exams.
(v) Performs specific editing and reviewing of documents, audio, video and web content as required.
(vi) Monitors and posts social media content to various platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
(vii) Processes data, financial transactions, reports and registration forms as required.
(viii) Provides technical support for computer equipment, instruments (musical and scientific), other type of equipment (laboratory or audio/video) and programs.
(ix) The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent. For example, incumbents may be asked to perform some elements of Office Assistant level “A” tasks in addition to the above listed functions.
 

Exam Review Coordinator is required to start 15 minutes prior to the opening of the Student Affairs Office, and will end 15 minutes after closing of the Student Affairs Office.

Responsibilities (but not limited to): Under the supervision of the Student Affairs Manager, supports the SAO with the Exam Review Period. The Exam Review Coordinator must be present during the work hours listed above. The coordinator will work closely with the SAO team ensuring the smooth running of the exam review period. The coordinator sees to the distribution and return of all graded course material provided to students for viewing according to Faculty procedures and regulations.

The following are some key tasks required of the Exam Review Coordinator:

1. Collect and track submitted graded course materials from instructors. Follow up with instructors as necessary.

2. Organize the graded course material in the examination room to ensure easy access and location. Places exams in ALPHA order.

3. The Exam Review Coordinator is located at the front counter of the SAO and collects requests from students to view graded course material from Winter 2023.

4. Review the exam requests submitted daily by students, students may ask to receive their exams by email or to view the hard copies in person.

5. For hard copy viewing, retrieve student McGill id card, locates course material, hands over to student for review. (Student must leave McGill ID card.)

6. Must keep track of all graded course material handed out to students.

7. Upon return of course material from student, returns student McGill Id card. Return course material to exam room.

8. For email request, scan and email exams to student.

9. Tasks must be performed professionally and ethically, with the boundaries of McGill University ethics policy, and in accordance with the Information and Protection of Privacy Act. 12-15 hrs per week.

Qualifications Required:

  • Good reading & writing comprehension of both French and English.
  • Must have a strong ability to exercise tact and attention to detail.
  • Not open to currently registered undergraduate Law students, currently registered LLM.
  • students or candidates interested in applying to a law program in the next four years.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma with one year of relevant experience in the field of work.

Voici quelques tâches clés requises du coordonnateur de la révision des examens : 1. Collectez et suivez les supports de cours notés soumis par les instructeurs. Suivi avec les instructeurs si nécessaire. 2. Organiser le matériel de cours noté dans la salle d'examen pour assurer un accès et un emplacement faciles. Place les examens dans l'ordre ALPHA. 3. Le coordonnateur de la révision des examens est situé au comptoir du SAO et recueille les demandes des étudiants pour consulter le matériel de cours noté de l'hiver 2023. 4. Examinez quotidiennement les demandes d'examen soumises par les étudiants. Les étudiants peuvent demander à recevoir leurs examens par courrier électronique ou à consulter les copies papier en personne. 5. Pour visionner une copie papier, récupérer la carte d'identité de l'étudiant de McGill, localiser le matériel de cours et le remettre à l'étudiant pour examen. (L'étudiant doit laisser sa carte d'identité de McGill.) 6. Doit garder une trace de tout le matériel de cours noté remis aux étudiants. 7. Au retour du matériel de cours de l'étudiant, retourne la carte d'identité de l'étudiant de McGill. Remettez le matériel de cours dans la salle d'examen. 8. Pour une demande par e-mail, numérisez et envoyez les examens par e-mail à l'étudiant. 9. Les tâches doivent être exécutées de manière professionnelle et éthique, dans les limites de la politique d'éthique de l'Université McGill et conformément à la Loi sur l'information et la protection de la vie privée. 12-15 heures par semaine

Qualités requises :

• Bonne compréhension en lecture et en écriture du français et de l'anglais.

• Doit avoir une forte capacité à faire preuve de tact et d'attention aux détails.

• Non ouvert aux étudiants en droit actuellement inscrits au premier cycle, actuellement inscrits au LLM.

• étudiants ou candidats intéressés à postuler à un programme de droit au cours des quatre prochaines années.

FORMATION, CERTIFICATION ET EXPÉRIENCE MINIMALES :
