Team and Position Overview

The Content Management team is responsible for the Records Management, Library Services, and Information Lifecycle Management programs on behalf of EDC. We currently have a career opportunity for two highly motivated students possessing a keen desire to deploy their interpersonal skills in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment while adhering to customer requirements, Records Management/Library standards and corporate policies.

The role is with our Library Services program where we manage a significant collection of external subscriptions, largely company, industry, and news sources. Duties include updating the library catalog, creating jobs aids, implementing discovery tools, gathering user feedback, conducting user interviews, participating in the development and delivery of training, and collection development.

Ideal Candidate

Currently enrolled, or recent graduate of an Information Management/Library Science program at the University level
Knowledge of Discovery systems, user authentication, and SharePoint would be an asset
Self starter – ability to work well with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Enthusiasm to tackle any task, whether menial or complex
Ability to communicate in both official languages
