Reporting to the Director General Outreach and Engagement Branch, the Director, Programs is accountable for:
→ Articulating, developing and implementing plans, strategies and approaches in order to deliver a variety of front-end programs, activities (such as exhibitions, national campaigns, online events, etc) to a range of specific user groups as well as the general public both in person and on-line;
→ Providing a leadership role in developing and connecting LAC with new audiences and promoting understanding of Canadian experiences and stories;
→ Contributing to service transformation at LAC by developing new models for delivering access, embracing a collaborative culture and engaging external users in the development and implementation of new programs and services.
In addition, the Director ensures the proposed approach and activities are welcoming, inclusive and respectful for all Canadians and that all communications, services and programs are client-focused.
