Responsible for the governance, strategy, planning, design and operations of Carleton’s Enterprise Applications, Digital workplace and Analytics, ERP Transformation and Web Services. Leads the development of Carleton’s Enterprise Application strategy in alignment with the university’s broader information technology and management plans.

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
• Knowledge of leadership practices in people management, strategic planning and risk management, policy development, financial management and stakeholder relationship management
• Issues and trends at Carleton and in the higher education sector related to the use of technology and information management
• Contemporary best practices in information management and technology programs and service delivery models
• Knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure and security and their integration
• Knowledge of project management
• Knowledge is deployed to develop and lead a major functional area within the university
• Responsible to develop and lead a major functional area within the university

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related program
• Ten years of previous experience in progressive leadership roles in an IT technology services field

This position is regularly required to work on campus in person.
