Course Description: Introduction to statistical software and data management; including basics of entering, manipulating data and elementary statistical analysis, SAS software, with reference to other packages of potential interest to students (R, Stata, SPSS).

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: PhD students in Epidemiology or Biostatistics, or completed PhD in epidemiology or Biostatistics.
Experience: Training and experience of data management and analysis in R and Stata, training and understanding of basic study design in epidemiology, understanding of basic concepts of statistical analysis in epidemiological studies from descriptive statistics to multivariable analysis. 


This course will be a time commitment of 13 hours per section.

Exams may however need to be administered remotely depending, mainly on the size of the class. Course Lecturers will be required to plan accordingly.
