The Department of Psychiatry at McGill University invites applications for a part-time position as replacement Course Lecturer for the course PSYT 625 Qualitative Research in Health Care for the fall 2022 semester from November to December 2022.
The successful candidate will provide excellent clinical teaching and supervision to undergraduate medical students and residents. McGill faculty members are expected to contribute to service activities within their units, the University and the wider scholarly community.
Candidate will prepare course plan, deliver, and evaluate students on:
1. Individual interviewing and focus group interviews;
2. Content, thematic and narrative analyses: coding to analysis, case studies and qualitative evaluation research, qualitative literature review;
3. Case studies and qualitative evaluation research, qualitative literature review;
The candidate will submit to the University a report on student attendance and student grades. Upon request, review of students' grades, meet with students, being available to a snwer questions and give advice concering Course content and requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Applicants must hold a PhD or Master's degree in a related field.
