Hiring Unit:
Max Bell School of Public Policy
Position Summary:
Assist with public outreach and events promotion

Produce visual and video content for the School's website and social media

Assist in updating the School's website
Proof-reading and writing articles, newsletters, and social media copy

Assist with social media posting
Attend and help out with Max Bell School online and in-person events 
 
Essential Skills
Impeccable written and spoken English
Excellent writing skills with ability to adapt writing tone to different audiences and platforms
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt work based on feedback
Strong communicator with a can-do approach to challenges

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and a good eye for design
Completed McGill Web Management System (Drupal) training
Excellent written and spoken French;
Familiarity with Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Hootsuite, Microsoft Teams, GSuite and Eventbrite
Experience with PremierPro
Experience with creating podcasts


Minimum Education and Experience:


High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience


Hourly Salary:


(AMUSE C) $17.00
