SAIT’s Information Technology Services department handles all software and hardware needs, as well as technological and networking issues for both employees and students who rely heavily on computer systems across our campuses. Technical support — which includes help with computer hardware and software technical problems, email, audio-visual needs and more — is available to everyone at SAIT, whether the problem occurs at home or on-campus.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supervisor, ITS Cloud Services, the Cloud Service Administrator will work as part of the Infrastructure team within the Information Technology Services department. 
The team is accountable for the operational support and management of SAIT’s Cloud infrastructure and applications. 
The Role

• System Administration 
• Maintaining and developing scripts to support messaging systems
• Day-to-Day Cloud Administration
• M365 Administration (Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive…etc)
• Messaging flow (e.g. alias, forwarder, backend auto-reply)
• Azure Active Directory Administration/SSO Administration
• PowerShell Scripting
• MS Intune Management
• Unity Voice Mail Management
• Break/Fix


• Security Administration
• Azure Certificate Administration
• Azure License Management
• MS Defender Administration
• Identity Management


• Systems Provisioning
• Infrastructure in the Cloud
• Infrastructure as code design and implementation
• SaaS administration


• Miscellaneous
• Project resource
• Documentation
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Members of department committees (e.g. Health and Safety, Social, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Required 
• 2-year diploma in the field of information technology, programming, computer management, or related technical area
• 2 years’ experience working as a part of an Cloud Support Team


• Preferred
• A Degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or related field 
• 5 years’ experience working as a part of an Cloud Support Team
• Azure Foundation (AZ900)
• ITIL Foundation
• MS Azure Certificate

Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000
Paid Leave: 4 Weeks Vacation/14 Flex Days per year
Hours Per Week: 37.5
