Department of Biology
Position Summary:
Perform data cleaning tasks on a large database of mammal attributes on a research project;
Perform data analysis using R;
Interpret the data;
Write a data paper (report);
Meet with supervisor and graduate students twice weekly to discuss research project progress.
Qualifications:
Experience with digitizing information from textbooks;
Experience manipulating large datasets;
Good communication and writing skills.
Experience and education:
Background in university ecology courses;
At least one semester of experience working in a lab focused on quantitative ecology.
