Department of Biology


Position Summary:

  • Perform data cleaning tasks on a large database of mammal attributes on a research project;

  • Perform data analysis using R;

  • Interpret the data;

  • Write a data paper (report);

  • Meet with supervisor and graduate students twice weekly to discuss research project progress.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with digitizing information from textbooks;

  • Experience manipulating large datasets;

  • Good communication and writing skills.

Experience and education:

  • Background in university ecology courses;

  • At least one semester of experience working in a lab focused on quantitative ecology.
