The Opportunity
To provide our guests with efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures of SAIT.
This position will be well-informed of menu items and ingredients, as well as, preparation methods. It is important to be familiar with the ingredients to ensure a quick response to guest questions, as well as, be better prepared to offer suggestions to accommodate allergies and preferences.
The Role
- Cleaning of tables, counters, and overall maintaining a high level of safety and sanitation standards
- Greeting of guests and provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods
- Processing transactions in Micros Point of Sale (P.O.S.)
- Perform basic math functions to collect payment and make change
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer
- Cross-trained in various outlets and scheduled in 1 or more
- Complete end-of-day cashout reconciliation, ensuring the accuracy of deposit
- Execute delivery of all food and beverages in an efficient and professional manner
- Packaging of prepared foods, labeling, and pricing
- Maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor and order packaging supply inventory
- Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet
- Assume related duties as required
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of relevant experience
