Hiring Unit:
Athletics and Recreation

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Head Coach Redbirds Football, act as Special Teams Coordinator and Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coach athletes to ensure proper technique, and progress/regress exercises accordingly.
  • Communicate with the S&C coach, and IST members, to assist with program planning to ensure objectives are being met on a team and individual level.
  • Aid in the collection, assessment, and analysis of athlete testing and monitoring data. 
  • Assist with the organization, cleanliness, and general equipment maintenance of the performance training spaces.
  • Interact with and support department initiatives and/or attend events/activities as requested.
  • Assist with the internship program by providing mentoring and education to students when applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned by the strength and conditioning coach.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

BS in Kinesiology or related field.

5 years of experience as a Special Teams coordinator.

5 years of experience as a Strength coach
