Assistant/Associate Professor - Prosthodontics

This position is in-person and is located in Edmonton, Alberta at the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic. 

The School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time tenure track-faculty position in Prosthodontics at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful individual will be responsible for building and maintaining an active research program, for which start-up funds will be available. There is an expectation for clinical and didactic teaching in Prosthodontics. Time allocation for private practice will be integrated into this appointment.

Applicants will have graduated from an accredited DDS/DMD specialty program and have relevant postgraduate and clinical qualifications in the specialty of prosthodontics or an equivalent level as specified by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC). Consideration will be given to applicants with a PhD degree and teaching experience in prosthodontic graduate program.

Applicants will have a record of, or potential for, scholarly contribution in the area of Prosthodontics, and evidence of ability to provide high-quality undergraduate and graduate-level teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise graduate students and involve them in their program of research.

Academic rank and salary will be based on the incumbent’s qualifications, experience, and achievements and in accordance with the Faculty Agreement.
