The Sprott School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position(s) in Strategic Management in the Management area group at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor effective July 1, 2022.

The successful candidate will deliver undergraduate and graduate courses to a culturally diverse student body, supervise graduate students, maintain an active research program, and participate actively in the ongoing development of our academic programs in a highly collegial environment.

About the Academic Unit

The Sprott School of Business is committed to excellence in teaching and research and is accredited by AACSB. The School offers a variety of degrees including: Bachelor of Commerce with Honours with eight concentrations including Management, a Post-Baccalaureate diploma in Accounting, a Master of Accounting, a Master of Science in Management, and a Ph.D. in Management. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a PhD/DBA, in Business with a research and teaching specialization in Strategic Management or be near completing their degree by July 2022. Candidates should demonstrate potential (Assistant Professor) or have a strong record of research publications and productivity (Associate/Full Professor) consistent with AACSB guidelines for a doctoral-granting business school. Candidates should also demonstrate potential (Assistant Professor) or have a record of successful teaching (Associate/Full Professor). Employment experience with business, government or non profit organizations will be considered an asset.
