​​Position Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Spin Instructor, will be responsible for planning and leading the spin class sessions to the registered patrons. The sport in question will range from beginners to advanced levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan and lead the spin classes.
  • Adapt lessons for the specific groups - ranging from beginners to advanced.
  • As required, modify moves, techniques for patrons who may have limitations.
  • Address any emergency issues requiring attention to supervisor or security.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Coaching experience and/or coaching certification (level 1) is required.
  • Knowledgeable in the designated sport.
  • Standard First-Aid (CPR-C)
  • Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing
