Overview: The KU Leuven Institute for the Future (IF) is looking for a Transdisciplinary Project Manager to support its transdisciplinary activities in the context of the project "FUTURES4FOOD (F4F) - Connecting futures and stakeholders of food systems by designing effective transition trajectories". IF is a growing research incubator that supports, catalyzes and accelerates transdisciplinary research at KU Leuven, developing innovative, alternative solutions, scenarios, policies and/or transition thinking for current and future societal and global challenges. IF believes that one way to transition to a sustainable future is by thinking across disciplines together with stakeholders on working towards solutions that benefit the common good. We are looking for a dedicated professional to support our projects. Project: F4F is financed by the Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO) and coordinated by IF. It is a collaboration between IF, the Sustainable Food Economies Research Group, Flanders Business School and the Earth and Life Institute. Policy frameworks such as the EU Green Deal and the European Farm to Fork strategy are key drivers for orienting the EU towards a sustainable future. The gap between discourse and action, however, is considerable. F4F focuses on developing and putting into practice a methodology while engaging all relevant stakeholders to close this gap.
