IMOB conducts research on image processing techniques for applications within the field of traffic safety. You will be responsible for the implementation of image processing algorithms for the automatic detection and classification of road users for traffic flow and traffic safety analyses. The images can be from fixed cameras or drones in the public domain. Your work will lead to increasing road safety for weak road users, among others.
IMOB coordinates a large European project (the i-DREAMS project) in which hardware and software were developed that monitor the condition of the driver and the environment.
