We are looking for a research assistant to join the team of prof. Tom Schrijvers at the KU Leuven Department of Computer Science.


The team of prof. Tom Schrijvers carries out research in the area of programming languages, with a particular emphasis on Functional Programming.
Many of our research topics involve the development of practical applications from theoretical concepts.

As a research assistant you will participate in our ongoing projects, where we apply and transfer ideas from functional programming to other fields. You will work closely with the other team members and our international partners, and will be involved in design decisions, implementation, evaluation and reporting.
