The Laboratory of Cellular Reprogramming and Epigenetic Regulation at the KU Leuven is seeking a highly motivated postdoc to study cell fate specification in human pre-implantation and early post-implantation embryogenesis. Your goal will be to identify factors and the gene regulatory logic underlying the induction of human trophoblast cell fates. To this end, you will use human pre-implantation embryos and imaging, stem cell-based embryo models (2D, 3D), single-cell transcriptomics plus chromatin accessibility assays, genome engineering and computational biology approaches. You will explore the functional significance of candidate regulators of human trophoblast development recently identified in the Pasque lab.
