The Laboratory of Cellular Reprogramming and Epigenetic Regulation at the KU Leuven is seeking a highly motivated postdoc to study cell fate specification in human pre-implantation and early post-implantation embryogenesis.

Your goal will be to study recently identified factors in human naive pluripotency and during alternative cell fate induction. To this end, you will use stem cell-based embryo models (2D, 3D, blastoids), human pre-implantation embryos, single-cell transcriptomics and chromatin accessibility assays, genome engineering and computational biology approaches. You will explore the functional significance of an exciting candidate regulator of human pre-implantation development recently identified in the Pasque lab.

PhD degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Bioscience Engineering or related.

Experience with cell culture, molecular biology, transcriptomics, epigenomics, early mammalian embryogenesis, human pluripotent stem cells is a plus.
