Post-doctoral position in motor control and learning

The initial appointment is for 18-24 months starting on the 1st of October. Applications are due on July 27th, 2020.Interviews are planned in the week of August 17th.

Please include within your motivation letter a research statement demonstrating the significance and originality of your previous scientific work. In addition, you are encouraged to address how you have pursued transparent and reproducible research(including Open Data, Open Materials, Preregistrations and publications of negative or null results). Papers in preparation or submitted should not be listed on your CV unless a preprint version has been made publicly available.

Eligibility criteria
  • You have earned a doctoral degree in Movement or Revalidation Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Experimental Psychology, Biomedical Engineering or you have equivalent expertise.
  • You have expertise in the use of medical imaging techniques for the study of brain in relation to behavior.
  • You possess programming skills.
  • You are able to take on responsibilities and work independently.
  • You speak English fluently and have good writing skills.
  • You look forward to work in a multidisciplinary team with movement scientists and medical doctors.
  • You are willing to follow Open Science principles.
  • You are willing to apply to post-doctoral fellowships (e.g. with the Research Foundation Flanders - FWO)
