Are you interested in supporting and developing doctoral education as a member of Finland’s largest scholarly community? We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a
PLANNING OFFICER FOR DOCTORAL EDUCATION
on a temporary basis from 1 January to 31 December 2022.
You will work in an independent role preparing the curriculum and teaching programme of doctoral programmes and coordinating their activities. Your diverse duties will include supporting doctoral researchers and doctoral thesis supervisors and providing advice on challenges related to supervision. You will also participate in organising various events and activities in collaboration with academic staff and your colleagues.

Your background
We prefer that you have some experience in doctoral education as well as academic administration or other university administration. You are a qualified professional with a positive service attitude and a can-do approach. You show initiative and demonstrate tact and diplomacy when interacting with customers. You have strong organisational and project management skills and you are able to express yourself fluently in Finnish and English. We hope that you hold a postgraduate research degree or are at an advanced stage of your doctoral studies.
