Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 01 Jun 2022

A post-doc position is available at the ”ULB Neuroscience Institute” (UNI) to work with Prof. Mathieu Bourguignon on a project at the interface between neuroimaging and movement biomechanics. Applications will be considered until the position is fulfilled.

The project will be run at the ”Laboratory of neurophysiology and movement biomechanics” and at the ”Laboratory of brain functional mapping”. These labs provide researchers with a wide range of recording techniques, including optical motion capture, force plates, accelerometers, EEG, MEG and MRI. The successful candidates will use these techniques to determine the behavioral relevance of various couplings occurring between brain oscillations and body kinematics and kinetics.

The position is funded by the F.R.S-FNRS, the national funding agency for researcher in Belgium, which supports the most competitive projects in the country.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and prior experience with human biomechanics or EEG/MEG are desirable.

Interested candidates should address their questions or application (CV + motivation letter) to [email protected] . Informal statements of interest are also welcome.
