The Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences of the Université de Namur is looking for a full-time Teaching & Research Assistant in Political Theory. The position involves, in equal parts, teaching and research duties. Teaching (mostly in the field of political sciences and philosophy) will be carried out within the Bachelor’s programmes. Research will be undertaken in Political Theory within the Transitions Research Institute which provides a multidisciplinary research environment.
The candidate will be part of the Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences. The Department offers bachelor and doctoral programs in information and communication and in political sciences. Research is organized through two research institutes, Transitions and the Namur Digital Institute (NaDI). The Department actively collaborates with national and international institutions and companies, through research projects, seminars, project-based courses and student internships.
