Offer Description
  • Representation of the subject piano in the development and exploration of the arts
  • Teaching and examination duties as well as supervision of students in all music pedagogical disciplines (piano as a major subject as well as a mandatory subject for other instruments and voice, applied piano playing, piano-specific didactics and teaching practice).
  • Implementation of and collaboration in artistic, pedagogical and research projects
  • Collaboration in organizational, administrative and evaluation tasks

Salary: According to the Austrian collective agreement, the monthly gross pay is a minimum of €6.362,50 (14 times/year). A possible higher salary, depending on qualification and previous experience, is subject to negotiation.

  • an outstanding artistic qualification for the position to be filled

Specific Requirements
  • international pianistic performance activity, the repertoire of which also includes 20th and 21st century music as well as chamber music
  • Several years of teaching experience in working with pupils and students of different ages and educational levels
  • Experience in the organization of artistic and/or artistic-educational projects

The required pedagogical and didactic aptitude will be assessed by means of a teaching demonstration.
