Your duties

• Participate in institute research projects in the field of Finance
• Independent research and publication activities
• Participation in the planning and preparation of research proposals
• Cooperation with national and international research institutions and participation in national and international scientific conferences
• Writing a doctorate thesis in the field of finance
• Teach courses and conduct examinations autonomously
• Supervision of bachelor and co-supervision of master theses
• Student support and supervision
• Cooperation on organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your Profile

• Completed diploma or master’s degree in the field of Business administration with a focus on finance
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German and English
• Very good IT skills and experience of working with R, Matlab or Python
• Excellent knowledge in the field of finance
• Enjoys scientific work and dealing with students
• Able to work autonomously and use own initiative
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team

Benefits

The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 3.058,60 gross/month (for full-time employment). This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
