Your duties

• Research in molecular biology and protein engineering; independent research and collaborative projects as member of the working group Biopharmaceuticals & Proteomics
• Participation in the writing of scientific articles and reports
• Participation in teaching and co-supervision of students
• Writing a PhD thesis in the field of molecular biology and protein engineering
• Participation in organizational and administrative tasks

Your Profile

• Master or Diploma degree in the life, pharmaceutical, or technical sciences
• Practical experience in protein expression, processing and characterization
• Bioanalytical skills in data analysis
• Cell biology know how requested
• Excellent skills in German and English
• Didactic skills for teaching independently (desirable)
• Highly analytical and problem-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills including willingness to work in a team
• Enthusiasm for research and teaching

Benefits

The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 3.058,60 gross/month (for full-time employment). This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
