Your personal sphere of influence:


As a university assistant Pradedoc, you will join the research team of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Chris Thomale, currently consisting of 4 university assistants praedoc, 1 project employee, 5 Study assistants, 1 coordinator colleagues and 1 addministrative colleagues.

Your tasks include active participation in teaching as well as participation in research and publication projects. The focus of our research is on International Corporate and Commercial law.

The contract duration of the employment is 3 years, initially limited to 1,5 years, the employment relationship will be automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not submit a declaration of non-renewal within the first 12 month. If work progresses accordingly, an extension to a maximum of 4 years is possible. (Model 1)

 
Your future tasks:


You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:

  • You are involved in research projects and scientific studies in the area of International Corporate and Commercial Law
  • We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
  • You work on your dissertation and its completion.
  • You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
  • You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.

This is part of your personality:


  • Completed Master's degree or Diploma, in the field International Corporate and Commercial Law
  • University studies completed with good success.
  • Knowledge of university processes and structures
  • Basic experience in academic writing and with research methods
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 Level), another foreign language is desired
  • Didactic competences / experience with e-learning
  • IT user skills: MS Office, Databases
  • You should be a team player with high social skills
